Caltrain to Operate Holiday Schedule on Labor Day

Caltrain will operate on a holiday schedule on Labor Day Monday, Sept. 2.

The rail line will operate on a reduced schedule of 20 trains. No trains will operate between San Jose's Tamien station and Gilroy.

On the Saturday and Sunday preceding Labor Day (Aug. 31 and Sept. 1), Caltrain will not be operating rail service because of the ongoing shutdown for construction.

Supplemental bus service on Route RRX will be provided as usual both weekend days. Weekend Passes are accepted on Route RRX beginning Saturday morning through the last train on Monday night.
