East Bellevue Avenue Closed for Rail Adjustment

East Bellevue Avenue in San Mateo will be closed at the Caltrain tracks while construction crews adjust the rail to allow for a maximum level of speed for Caltrain. The closure will take place from 8 p.m. Friday, June 11, through approximately 6 p.m. Saturday, June 12.

During the closure, traffic along East Bellevue will be detoured to Poplar Avenue and Villa Terrace via San Mateo Drive and Claremont Street.

The construction work will not impact train service, which will operate free of charge on June 12 and 13.
