Caltrain Will Add Trains for Baseball Games July 10 & 31

Caltrain will run two extra trains to get baseball fans to SBC Park for two Saturday night games, July 10 and 31.

In addition to the regular trains departing the San Jose Diridon station at 4 p.m. and 5 p.m., Caltrain will run special trains leaving at 4:45 p.m. and 5:10 p.m.

They will make all regular local stops, arriving at Caltrain’s San Francisco Terminal at 6:21 p.m. and 6:46 p.m., in time for the 7:15 p.m. San Francisco Giants games against the Arizona Diamondbacks and the St. Louis Cardinals.

In addition to its regular southbound service after the game, Caltrain will operate an express train to San Carlos, which leaves approximately 15 minutes after the last out or when full. That train makes all local stops after San Carlos.

A second train will leave San Francisco 25 minutes after the game or when full and will make all stops to San Jose.

On weekends, Caltrain makes the connection for most trains between the San Jose Diridon and the Tamien stations by means of a shuttle bus.
