Caltrain to Serve Rolling Stones Concert NOV. 13 & 15
Bay Area residents heading to the Rolling Stones concert at SBC Park on Nov. 13 and 15
can get satisfaction by taking Caltrain to San Francisco.
In addition to its regular service on Sunday, Caltrain will provide a
special train
that will leave the San Jose Diridon station at 5:30 p.m. and arrive in San Francisco
at 7:06 p.m. There also will be extra capacity on regular trains. On Tuesday, there are
plenty of regular and Bullet trains heading to San Francisco for the show.
Two extra trains will run after both concerts. One train will depart 15 minutes,
or when full, after the concert and express to San Carlos before making all regular
local stops. The second train will leave 25 minutes, or when full, after the show
and make all regular local stops.
Concert-goers planning to arrive via Caltrain need to purchase their tickets before boarding the train.
Caltrain tickets can be purchased from ticket vending machines located at all stations.
