Caltrain Heading to KKSF Earth Day Celebration in San Jose
Music lovers going to the KKSF Earth Day Celebration on Saturday, April 23, can
leave their cars at home and travel in the spirit of the event by taking Caltrain to
San Jose.
The radio station’s Earth Day Celebration festivities on Plaza de Cesar Chavez run
from noon to 5 p.m. The venue is in downtown San Jose on Market Street between San
Fernando and San Carlos streets across from the Fairmont Hotel.
Caltrain offers hourly southbound service on weekend days to the San Jose Diridon
station. From there, concert-goers can transfer to VTA routes 63 or 64 to downtown
San Jose. More adventurous types may even want to walk.
VTA’s light rail service to downtown San Jose is available from Caltrain’s Tamien
station, which is served on weekends by a shuttle bus that connects with the Diridon
station.
