Take Caltrain and SamTrans to the San Mateo County Fair

Carnival-lovers can avoid traffic and parking hassles by taking SamTrans or Caltrain to the San Mateo County Fair Aug. 12-21.

SamTrans’ Routes 390 and 391 stop on El Camino Real, a few blocks away from the entrance to the San Mateo County Expo Center, which is also served by Route 292 in San Mateo.

Caltrain provides daily service to the Hillsdale station, as well as to the Bay Meadows station on days during the fair when horse racing is under way.

While at the fair, visitors are encouraged to visit the Caltrain/SamTrans booth, located outdoors.
