Caltrain to Serve Stanford Stadium Stop Beginning Sept. 17
Stanford football fans can score a transit touchdown by taking Caltrain to home games
at the Stanford Stadium. Caltrain will serve the stadium station on game days beginning
with the first home game against UC Davis on Saturday, Sept. 17.
Located off Embarcadero Road and Alma Street, Caltrain’s Stanford Stadium Station is a
short walk from the stadium.
Caltrain has made Stanford part of its game plan for
all six home games; trains will begin stopping
at the stadium train station approximately two hours before kickoff. There will be no
special service to the station, so fans are cautioned to check the train schedule and
plan their departure accordingly. All weekend trains serve the Palo Alto station, which
is located one-half mile north of the stadium station.
Since there are no ticket vending machines at the Stanford station, riders are advised
to purchase a Caltrain Day Pass at their departure station before boarding the train to
go to the game.

Kickoff times are subject to change due to potential television coverage. Passengers
should call Caltrain at 1.800.660.4287 for additional service and train fare information. People
with hearing impairments may call (TTY only) 650.508.6448.
