Take Caltrain to Stanley Cup Playoff Games at the Tank

Ice hockey fans can enjoy the Sharks feeding frenzy during Stanley Cup Playoff action at HP Pavilion April 30 and May 2 by taking Caltrain to the game.

With its San Jose terminal located across the street from HP Pavilion, Caltrain service makes it easy to avoid the hassle and expense of driving and parking.

Fans have their choice of a number of trains that arrive from San Francisco and the Peninsula in time for the San Jose Sharks 7 p.m. face-off against the Redwings.

The last weekday and Saturday northbound train departs San Jose Diridon station at 10:30 p.m. or 15 minutes after the game ends, whichever is later. The train makes all regular local stops. Trains will stop at the Broadway and Atherton station on weekends only.

Caltrain is a Proof-of-Purchase system and requires passengers to possess a valid ticket before boarding. For information about schedules and fares, call Caltrain’s Customer Service Center at 1.800.660.4287 (TTY 650.508.6448).
