Temporary Closure of Burlingame Pedestrian Crossing for Caltrain Construction

The pedestrian crossing at Morrell Avenue in Burlingame, between Broadway and Oak Grove Avenue, is closed until April 18 to allow crews to reconstruct the crossing and adjacent track. During the closure, pedestrians and cyclists will have to detour around the construction by using Broadway or Oak Grove Avenue.

Construction crews have closed the crossing in order to grade the ramp and replace worn concrete. Pedestrian gates will be installed in the final phase of the project, which is scheduled for completion May 15. For additional information about Caltrain, call 1.800.660.4287.
