Take Caltrain to Icer Air at AT&T Park

Extreme sports enthusiasts should hop on Caltrain for Esurance Icer Air 2008 Oct. 18 at AT&T Park’s McCovey Cove in San Francisco.

This year’s event, which will be held from noon to 9 p.m., features a Men’s Big Air Ski and Snowboard Competition, freestyle motocross sessions and a Skate/BMX Park Competition. There also will be food, live music and interactive industry booths.

AT&T Park is just one block from the San Francisco Caltrain Station, making it easy to avoid the hassle and expense of driving and parking in The City.

On Saturday, Caltrain operates hourly service. Weekend trains make all local stops between San Francisco and the San Jose Diridon Caltrain Station. Open containers of alcohol will not be allowed on southbound trains beginning at 9 p.m. following the event.

Caltrain is a Proof-of-Payment system. Tickets are not sold on board trains, but should be purchased at the Ticket Vending Machines on the station platforms. Passengers must possess a valid ticket or pass before boarding.
