The rivalry between the San Jose Earthquakes and the Los Angeles Galaxy shakes up this Saturday with the 101st California Clásico at Stanford Stadium on June 29, at 7:30 p.m.

Soccer fans can count on Caltrain to deliver them to and from the Stanford Stadium Station for Saturday’s game. Fans can find more train service details on Caltrain’s website.

Stanford Station is not a wheelchair accessible station. Riders who require wheelchair access can depart at Palo Alto Station. Stanford Station also does not have ticket vending machines, so riders should use Clipper or purchase a Day Pass for their return trip. Conductors will be at the Stanford Station to help Clipper users to tap on and off. All trains stopping at Stanford Station will be on the southbound platform.

Given the large crowds expected, riders are encouraged to purchase a Day Pass through the Caltrain mobile app or use Clipper to avoid lines at ticket vending machines. Caltrain is a proof-of-payment system; tickets are not sold onboard trains but can be purchased at station ticket machines or via mobile ticketing before boarding. Attendees traveling as a group can save money as part of Caltrain’s package of fare discounts, by purchasing a Group Day Pass at a ticket vending machine or Caltrain’s mobile app.

Parking at Caltrain stations is available and permits can be purchased using the Caltrain mobile app or through ticket machines onsite. The mobile app can be used immediately after parking, as it requires a space number. Paid parking rules are enforced throughout the day.

Caltrain reminds customers that open alcoholic beverages are prohibited on the trains beginning at 9 p.m. on special event days and nights.
