One of the east side parking lot at the Hillsdale Caltrain Station will close as of Monday, January 27. Riders at Hillsdale are encouraged to park at either the west lot off El Camino Real or the parking area along the tracks on the east side accessible by East 28th Avenue.
The Pacific Boulevard lot is not a Caltrain property, and is being closed in order to develop the site. Riders parking at the alternative lot can still pay at the ticket vending machines on the platform, or through Caltrain Mobile.
Riders can also park at the Belmont Caltrain Station and either board the train there, or take the free Belmont/Hillsdale shuttle. Riders can also consider other transit options in order to manage the change in parking. Shuttles serving the station will now pick up and drop off at Pacific Boulevard.

About Caltrain: Owned and operated by the Peninsula Corridor Joint Powers Board, Caltrain provides commuter rail service from San Francisco to San Jose, with commute service to Gilroy. While the Joint Powers Board assumed operating responsibilities for the service in 1992, the railroad celebrated 150 years of continuous passenger service in 2014. Planning for the next 150 years of Peninsula rail service, Caltrain is on pace to electrify the corridor, reduce diesel emissions by 97 percent by 2040 and add more service to more stations.
