Take Caltrain to Saturday, Sunday Giants Games vs. LA Dodgers

 

The San Francisco Giants will play three games against the Los Angeles Dodgers this weekend and Caltrain is ready to get you to and from AT&T Park for the games.

The archrivals will face off in a day-night doubleheader on Saturday. Game 1 is set for 1:05 p.m. Caltrain will run two extra pre-game trains that will depart San Jose Diridon Station at 9:41 a.m. and 10:28 a.m. These trains are labeled with “S” in the schedule.

Game 2 will begin at 7:05 p.m. that night. Caltrain will run two extra pre-game trains that will depart the Diridon Station at 4:28 p.m. and 5:08 p.m. These trains are also labeled with “S” in the schedule.

On Sunday, the teams will take the field for a rare 2:05 p.m. start time. The game previously had a scheduled 1:05 p.m. start time. Caltrain will run two extra pre-game trains that will depart the Diridon Station at 10:28 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. These trains are also labeled with “S” in the schedule.

Caltrain will run two extra post-game local trains after each game that will depart approximately 15 minutes and 25 minutes after the last out or when full. These trains make all local stops to the San Jose Diridon Station (the post-game Belmont Express train is no longer be in service).

Caltrain is a proof-of-payment system; tickets are not sold onboard trains but can be purchased at vending machines at the stations. To save time on the return trip, passengers are encouraged to buy a Day Pass or utilize the new Caltrain Mobile ticketing app. Clipper card users are reminded to tag on and tag off.

Parking at Caltrain stations costs $5.50 for the day, and permits can be purchased through ticket machines onsite. Paid parking rules are enforced throughout the day. Parking permits cannot be purchased on the Caltrain Mobile app.

To help make it a pleasant trip for all, Caltrain reminds fans to drink responsibly and to remember that open alcoholic beverages are prohibited on trains departing from San Francisco beginning at 9 p.m. on game days.
